About PeekChef

PeekChef started with a problem everyone knows: you open the fridge, stare at what's inside, and have no idea what to cook. That moment of decision fatigue happens millions of times a day in kitchens around the world.

I'm Eugenio Damm, a software developer based in Spain. I built PeekChef to fix that moment. The idea is simple — snap a photo of your fridge, and AI does the rest. It identifies your ingredients and generates personalized recipes matched to your dietary needs, cooking skill, household size, and how much time you have.

How it works

PeekChef uses AI vision to recognize ingredients directly from a photo of your fridge or pantry. No manual input, no scrolling through ingredient lists. Once it knows what you have, it generates a handful of recipe suggestions tailored specifically to you — complete with step-by-step instructions.

Why I built this

Most recipe apps start with the recipe and expect you to go shopping. PeekChef starts with what you already have. That means less food waste, less decision fatigue, and dinner on the table faster. It's the app I wanted to exist, so I built it.
